First time going, got the katsu Mahi Mahi, was ONO!! Ordered cheeseburgers and fries for my kids and a brownie to share everything was good!
Got the Mahi katsu and Mac salad. I wish my stomach was bigger because I wanted to try their chicken too. I’ll have to go back next time Food was fresh and delicious and the staff were very respectful. There’s a little plaza across the street where you can sit down, enjoy the weather, and if you’re lucky you’ll see some baby chicks as they chase after their mothers.
Second visit! Last week I came in and got a double loco moco and it was awesome. Today I came back for the same but this time also got a Kekahott chicken with sauce on the side. I should have just had it tossed with the sauce. It's pretty amazing. Chicken was good even without the sauce, but with sauce took it to another level.
I would give this place 10/5 stars if I could. Excellent food, great service and HUGE portions. The Mahi Katsu might be my favorite thing I have ate on my trip and we also spent a week in Oahu before coming to Kauai
Fantastic local lunch plate. Mahi Katsu was amazing and so crispy. Mac Salad much better than L&L. Nowhere to sit inside, but lots of tables out front to eat at. Prices reasonable as well for Hawai’i.
The food tastes incredible. They don't have seating inside but it's definitely worth stopping by and getting some stuff
Excellent food, everyone loved it! Was surprised by how affordable it was, great prices. Got the Mahi katsu (loved it! Two people could share), fish and chips (daughter loved it), teriyaki cheeseburger (delicious), onion rings, fries and brownies. Everything was good and would definitely come again. Sad we missed the cheesecake, it had just sold out. We ate at the park across the street. We came as a group of 14 and got our food pretty quick. The woman taking our order was friendly, patient and helpful
This ended up being the best food we had our entire time on Kauai, and we just so happened upon it on our way back from Waimea Canyon. Eat it at the picnic tables across the road, and pair it with some of the best shaved ice right next door.
